Grade 7 Classes
- Students in 7th grade Language Arts are currently reading their second Book Talk novel. Instead of journaling, students are filling in a "bookmark" as they read. The bookmark is a two sided sheet of activities which reinforce a particular reading strategy or literary device. The first reading and completed bookmark are due on Tuesday, January 6th. Ask your child to show you their reading schedule. Students will receive a different bookmark for each session which is due on the session due date.
We are currently in our short story unit. Students should have homework almost every night. Ask to see their agenda where they are responsible for recording assignments. This unit should last into mid February.
MEAs are in early March. We will have a brief refresher course for students so that they will feel confident and comfortable taking the test.

- Seventh Grade Math focuses on Pre-Algebra. Some of the topics covered are integers, geometry and equations.
