- This year we will finish the Junior High sequence of American History by reviewing the 1900s - 1930s and studying the 1940s through the end of the century.
- In eighth grade science the students study a variety of topics. These topics include - the scientific method, classification, human body systems, comparative anatomy and forensic science.
Welcome to 8th grade math. This should be an exciting and challenging class for all students. During the first trimester we will complete two Conntected Math Books, Samples and Populations and Clever Counting to learn about data analysis and statistics. We will also review and preview skills needed to be successful in Algebra I. We embark on our Algebra I journey second trimester. Our algebra topics include the tools and language of algebra, equations, inequalities, functions, linear functions and systems of equations and inequalities. In addition to the textbook we will use laptops to explore a variety of 8th grade topics.
